As a Producer it is your responsibility to educate your crew on how to recognize and deal with harassment in the workplace, however, there can be many roadblocks to ensuring that your crew will be on the same page.

 

It is not unheard of that during pre-productions many of your Department Heads, working hard to fulfill their responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, will not make the time for an internal presentation on harassment in the workplace.

 

It is also not unheard of for Producers to put this responsibility far down on their list of "Things To Do" when they are trying to get a million details completed as the first day of Principal Photography is bearing down.
